Gansu CSCEC Municipal Engineering Survey and Design Institute Co., Ltd. originated from the Survey Branch of Northwest Municipal Engineering Design Institute, which was founded in January 1959. It is an independent legal entity separated from the restructured Northwest Municipal Engineering Design Institute and affiliated to China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC). Currently, it is the host unit of the Engineering Survey and Geotechnical Work Committee of Gansu Survey and Design Association and the Engineering Survey Professional Academic Committee of Gansu Civil Engineering and Architecture Society.
